Sweet Treats

I had so much fun with my mom taking these pictures below. She was the photographer and although she was using a digital camera for the first time, she got pretty good by the end :)

This is a new fabric from Michael Miller called Sweet Treats.
It comes in 3 different colors but I only used the black so far...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This year, I gave up on making 'new year resolutions' and instead, I started the year with hopes and wishes... hopes of having more fun, wishing to traveling more, maybe to places I wouldn't normally visit for the simple fact that they are too far or too strange...

I was watching a show on the Travel Chanel the other day about Bali, Indonesia, and I was so impressed with the images, the colors, the flower offering at the temples, the lush beauty of the landscapes...
This beauty got me searching for pictures of Bali and thinking about bright fabrics and bold mix of colors Heather Bailey's Pop Garden collection 'popped' to mind. I don't know what inspired her in designing this collection but these pictures of Bali inspired me...

These pictures are from Amankila Luxury Resort website, I've never been there and I'm not advertising this place, I've chosen the pictures simply because they were so pretty, they got me dreaming...
